We will perform at 6.00 PM. Booth: 5.00 - 9.00 PM.

1)Bajidor Kahot (social dance) from West Java collaboration with Bali.
2)Kembang Kipas (flower fan) dance from Jakarta/West Java

Who we are

ARCINDA (The Arts and Culture of Indonesia) is a non-profit organization, with 501 (c)(3) status. Through gamelan music and dance, our mission is to promote traditional Indonesian culture all across Colorado and the USA. Our influence has allowed us to receive several grants from Colorado Creative Industries, City of Fort Collins, City of Longmont, AICEF (American Indonesian Cultural Education Foundation) and other organizations. ARCINDA has received testimonials from CBS (Channel 4 News), Kabari News, Coloradoan Newspaper, and the Daily Camera Newspaper.

Highlights

Bali Art Festival Performance

Guest Artists: Saptono(Gamelan Master), Baghawan Ciptoning (Dancer), Anggara Wisnu (Dancer), Kandi Raras (Dancer), Nurlina Syahrir (Dancer).
During the summer of 2019, Arcinda was invited to perform at the Bali Art Festival in Indonesia for the first time (sponsored by Bank Mandiri). We also performed in 2024 (sponsored by My Pertamina). We have collaborated with local groups and universities (Institute of the Arts), Denpasar, to bring together a performance that tells the story of Arjuna and Srikandi. We hope to continue promoting culture to Colorado, Bali, Indonesia and beyond!. Thanks to:

Dance with Artist: Didik Nini Thowok

Well-known Indonesian dancer Didik Nini Thowok has collaborated with Arcinda to showcase the Dual Faces Mask Dance to Colorado communities. The presentation of two prosperous personalities, combined with the Javanese gamelan ensemble, brings foward a cultural experience you won't forget!

Anyone who is interested in learning more about Indonesian culture is free to join ARCINDA for free! Feel free to contact us, either by sending us a message or by connecting with us on performance/rehearsal days!

Our routine consists of rehearsals at volunteering members' residences with both practice for gamelan and dance. Our rehearsals will prepare us for our upcoming performances. Food and drinks are provided!
